Do you know where your dossier is tonight???

Our dossier is in transit to Addis Ababa!!!! YAY, this really won't speed up much of the process but at least it will be exactly where it needs to be. Thanks to Kate for working so hard to get everything exactly the way it needed to be and where it needed to be. My FedEx tracking doesn't give an estimated arrival for the shipment yet but I assume about a week.

Just found your blog. Congrats on being in the waiting stage! We're about six weeks ahead of you, and for the most part, the time has flown by -- although, every time the phone rings, my heart skips a beat =) Hope it goes fast for you!

THanks so much for your comment on our blog - I hadn't seen yours yet, so I'm so glad you left it. I have mainly focused on the Gladney list, so I didn't know there were other Gladney blogging families out there! Your blog is adorable and I'll have to add it to my watch list (or send the link to Mary and she can add it to the GLadney site). Seeing others get referrals will help our wait to go get little Sophie. Hang in there - hopefully you will hear as soon as possible and we'll have our fingers crossed for you guys!!

I just found your blog. We are with Gladney and adopting a baby boy too! We are nearing the end of our paper chase. It is always nice to have someone a little ahead of you to see what the timeline looks like. We live in Jasper, Indiana...a little over an hour from Louisville. I will be following your journey.
Blessings,
Amy

Hi - Congratulations on being official! My husband and I live near Richmond, KY and we're with Gladney. We're off to Addis on Aug. 20 to pick up our 5 month old daughter. We don't have a blog, but my email is josad@hotmail.com. I'd love to hear from you. Good luck with the waiting - it shouldn't be long with Gladney! Josa

Hi Lindsey,
I wanted to let you know that I had a chance to talk to Natalie on Friday. What she told me regarding siblings was that you need to wait for one or the other- you can't wait for siblings and a single child at the same time. We originally thought we could move from siblings to a single child without having an increased wait- she said the wait would basically start over. Are you guys offically waiting for siblings at this point or just a single child. Did you see the Mestas just received a referral for 5mo old twin girls and a 3 yr old boy! If you don't have their blog I posted info on their referral on our site. I'm so happy for them. We're heading out later this week for a nice long vacation- we plan to do alot of thinking and come back prepared with our decision to jump on the sibling or girl waiting list. It's such a tough decision and up to this point young siblings have been so rare. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this. You can email me at wewillbringthemhome@gmail.com if you want to chat more!
